Description

Order. To station the ship Love in the bay behind Sandy Hook, to overhaul suspected vessels about to arrive. [1648] (page 389);Communication. From the director-general to the council, notifying them of the despatch of the above vessel, and of the seizure of the ship Falconer, addressed to Govert Loockermans & Co., he being the person most suspected of smuggling, and asking their advice what further ought to be done. [1648] (page 389);Resolution. To unload the above ship, and to remove her cargo to the company's store. [1648] (page 390);Order. To the officer of the guard, to fine such citizens as neglect to attend the guard, in turn, or behave disorderly, and to levy execution in case the fine be not paid. [1648] (page 390)
