Court proceedings. Symon Dircksen Pos, appellant, Adriaen van der Dock, respondent, in appeal from a judgment of the court of Renselaerswyck in a case of slander; judgment of the court below confirmed, with costs, and appellant fined 10 guilders towards building the church. Jochem Kierstede ads. Isaac Allerton, for the discharge of James Bier; ordered, that Louis Hulet prove that James Bier is his servant. (See supra, 204.) William Nikey, attorney for Govert Loockerman, vs. Nicolas Coorn, of Renselaerswyck, for damage to the plaintiff's sloop; judgment for plaintiff; damages to be assessed, and judgment to be approved by patroon Van Renselaer, meanwhile, defendant not to leave New Netherland (see Vol. 2, pp. 100, 117, 129).
