Description

Minute of council. Report of the fiscal, that George Baxter had been to Gravesend, and gave out that the English had returned victorious from Canada to Boston, and that orders had been sent by the Lord Protector to reduce New Netherland; rivers frozen; roads covered with snow; commissioners ordered to visit the new settlement of Oyster bay, &c.
