Whereas Thomas Lambertse hath complained to me that he is greatly annoyed by some inhabitants of the Town of Breuckelen, on account of some arrears of country rates under the late English government, therefore the Schout and Magistrates of the abovenamed Town are required and commanded to take care that the aforesaid Thomas Lambertse be not molested on account of any claims that might or can be set up against him as Constable, until further orders, which shall be issued by direction of Commissioners. Done Fort Willem Hendrick, 10th May, 1674.
