Translation

At a Meeting of the Honorable Council of War of New Netherland, holden in Fort Willem Hendrik, the 13th of August, Anno 1673.

The Commanders and Council of War have summoned the underwritten Towns and ordered them to submit to their High Mightinesses, the Lords States-General of the United Netherlands and his Serene Highness the Prince of Orange, etc., and to send hither immediately their Deputies together with their Constables’ staves and English flags, when they would, as circumstances permit, be furnished with Prince's flags instead of those of the English. This summons is sent to the following Towns:
