Court proceedings. Fiscal vs. Abraham Pietersen, for slandering the director-general; judgment demanded conformable to the Imperial Statutes, fol. 296; defendant ordered under arrest. Capt. Patrick vs. Joseph Scot, slander; defendant ordered to prove his assertion within a month, meanwhile to furnish bail for his appearance, and for whatever damages may be awarded plaintiff. Fiscal vs. John Celes, for shooting a hog; judgment next session. Abraham Ryken vs. Jacques Bentyn, slander; defendant proves that pork had been eaten at plaintiff's house. [1642]
