Ordinance. Against harboring fugitive servants, and declaring null and void all notes and other instruments not drawn up by the secretary or other authorized person. [1640];Resolution setting forth that the arms of the states-general having been torn down on Long island, &c., an armed force be sent thither to reduce the Indians to obedience, and to levy a contribution on them.
